“We are shaping the future we long for and have not yet experienced.”
adrienne maree brown
I enjoy working on a wide range of concerns and goals, including attachment and intimacy, emotional regulation, self-worth, decision-making, identity exploration, and healing from trauma.
I work with people seeking clarity about who they are,
and about how they can
come into greater alignment with their values and desires.
About
Tova
I believe deeply in the value of healthy risk taking - as a catalyst for growth and for living a vibrant life. I believe we can all do things we didn’t think were possible. Sometimes these risks are visible in the external world, like starting a new business, exploring unknown places, or speaking one’s mind. And sometimes they take place within, like exploring beliefs and protective patterns that once were necessary for survival but now unwittingly impede connection and joy. Though the goals of our work are future-focused, sometimes we need to heal from the past in order to move forward.
My style is direct and compassionate. I believe that under even the most painful thoughts and behaviors there is a good intention. Understanding this good intention is necessary in order to soften into self-compassion. This softening then creates the space and curiosity needed to try something new.
I endeavor to operate from a liberatory framework. Anti-racism, sex and body positivity, and sex worker allyship are core values of this practice. We do not need to hold the same beliefs or values to work together.
